Be You.
The Sarantopoulos Lab is seeking a B-cell enthusiast. We are using primary patient samples and mouse models to understand the role of B cells in anti-leukemia/tumor responses. For over a decade, the lab has studied B cell fate, function and dysfunction after allogeneic stem cell transplantation (SCT). Our studies also aim to identify potential anti-tumor B cell activity in patients who have undergone SCT. We previously identified potential pathological roles for B Cell Receptor (BCR)-activated B cells in chronic GVHD that have led to clinical trials and we now strive to understand anti-tumor B cell responses. The PhD postdoctoral candidate would be a highly motivated immunology trained individual, interested in B cell signaling, B cell activation and B-T cell interaction, and adept at flow cytometry and cell based assays.
Minimum Requirements:
Recent PhD in immunology or PhD in other discipline with significant immunology training.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong interest in B cell biology preferred.
Other Requirements:
This position is (insert options below).
- Onsite. The work is performed on-site or at a designated assignment location.
